How Elemental Gems Megaways works

Reels that reshape every spin. This Chinese-themed slot from Pragmatic Play uses a grid that shifts with each spin—up to 8 symbols can land on any reel, creating up to 512 Megaways to win. Gems, dragons and pagodas spin across three main reels plus a fourth reel dedicated to win multipliers. Released in February 2022, the game sits at the high end of volatility, meaning wins land less often but can reach substantial amounts when they do.

Bets for different appetites. Elemental Gems Megaways suits players comfortable with longer gaps between wins and the patience to chase bigger payouts. The high volatility and bet range from A$0.20 to A$100 mean you can start modest or stake larger amounts if you're hunting the game's top prize. If you prefer steady smaller wins and frequent payouts, this slot's swings won't be your rhythm.

Multiplier as the sole engine. The Win Multiplier Reel on the right side drives every round. As your main three reels land symbols, this fourth reel applies a multiplier to your win—it's the game's only variance feature and what separates one spin from another. No free spins, no scatter and no bonus buy mean this multiplier is everything; higher numbers here can turn modest base game wins into genuine paydays.

Your bet, your choice

You pick your stake from A$0.20 up to A$100. The three main reels hold between 2 and 8 symbols each, so your ways to win shift with every spin—up to 512 different patterns can land.

Match three symbols?

When three or more matching symbols land across the reels from left to right, they form a winning combination. The Megaways grid means these lines of symbols can run in many directions, not just straight paths.

Elemental Gems Megaways multiplier reel

The fourth reel on the right stays fixed on every spin as your WIN MULTIPLIER REEL. It can boost payouts when your win lands, turning ordinary hits into much bigger ones without needing a bonus round.

Elemental Gems Megaways bonus trigger

This slot has no scatter trigger and no free spins mode. The Win Multiplier Reel drives all the variance, so every base game spin carries the chance of a multiplied payout.

Set your spending boundary

Set a loss limit or session time reminder before you start playing. These tools help you stay in control and stop when you planned to, giving you a clear boundary for your session.

Elemental Gems Megaways RTP

When you stake 100, this slot returns 96.51 on average

RTP is a long-run average worked out over a very large number of spins. The 96.51% figure applies to the standard game and shows what the slot returns to players for every 100 staked, across countless rounds.

What stays unknowable about this slot

Don't expect multipliers on a schedule. The WIN MULTIPLIER REEL is the only way variance hits during base game play. When it appears and how much it multiplies your win stays completely unpredictable from one spin to the next.

Your session versus the RTP. The RTP of 96.51% describes what happens across thousands of spins. Your single session can land above it, below it or anywhere between. Nobody knows which direction your first 50 spins will take.

Can you reach the maximum win? The maximum win of A$500,000 at the top bet is mathematically possible but lands so rarely that no player should plan a session around reaching it. It sits at the absolute ceiling of payouts.

When does the 96.51% RTP apply on Elemental Gems Megaways?+

The 96.51% RTP is the standard game return. This figure is calculated across all your spins in the base game, including multiplier reel outcomes, and reflects what the game returns on average for every A$100 you stake.

Playing responsibly at Spinplace Casino

Before and after. Decide what you can afford to spend before your session begins. Once you reach that amount, your session is over. This keeps your play within your budget.

Stop point, win or lose. Plan when you'll stop playing before you start, whether you're ahead or behind. A big win is still the end of your session if that's what you decided beforehand.

Lock in your limits. Use your account's deposit and loss limits to cap how much money you can put in and how much you're willing to lose. These tools work in the background while you play.
